EMC Tech Support Engineer V in Raleigh, North Carolina
ScaleIO is looking for an L3 Technical Support Engineer to help drive our ground breaking software defined storage technology.

Applies advanced systems level technical expertise to resolve highly complex systems level customer issues. Works closely with Engineering and other technical business units to increase knowledge and resolve customer issues. Identifies and provides resolutions to a diverse range of complex technical problems. Engineers provide problem determination and resolution for customer issues.

Expert knowledge of operating systems (VMWare ESX / Linux / Windows) – Installation and configuration
Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking
Scripting – Perl/Python/Shell
Experience in working with customers worldwide
Networking experience: TCP/IP Protocol, infrastructure
Familiarity with applications, database (SQL, Exchange, Oracle) and clusters
B.Sc. (or equivalent) in Computer Science
