Provide expert product technical leadership to the field sales organization, engineering, and influence industry standards in support of the worldwide sales effort.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical product articles, documentation, white papers, presentations, demonstrations, trade show participation, field sales and customer consulting, customer briefing and executive presentations.Develop and provide leading-edge and ongoing product education using video conferencing, formal education, regional office visits and technical consulting to staff.Acquire, develop, execute and document performance benchmarks comparing Dell EMC products to the industry. Influence development efforts/scope with technical documentation and training materials.Provide technical consulting and installation advice at customer sites in support of product roll-outs ensuring product specifications are met. Interact with senior customer personnel involving cross functional issues and advise on future product enhancements.Provide technical work direction, training and consulting to staff members; deliver presentations at customer briefings and SE meetings and industry conferences.Conduct customer requested functional/performance testing; provide technical expertise for products to influence development efforts with documentation and training materials. Manage beta's/ACT product tests, develop test plans and perform site management.Field visits consulting with customers and Dell EMC personnel on technical analysis and feedback of perceived products strengths and weaknesses. Works on unusually complex problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative.
