Business & Partner Development: Identify and recruit service partners for new business. Recruit existing partners for new services solution opportunities.
Create the partner business case(s) to address new go-to-market solutions. Advise and influence partners to develop new Services go-to-market solution opportunities. Develop, maintain and nurture executive decision maker relationships within partner
Partner Enablement: Drive and own the partner services business planning activities. Create joint account strategy across the partner, and EMC. Coordinate and manage EMC resources to assist the partner.
Market Analysis and Planning: Assess partner focus markets and apply capacity planning in order to determine and shape overall partner Services strategy. Coordinate and interlock with field EMC, Cisco, EMC and VMware Partner Managers and market leadership to prioritize solutions and practices areas to be developed by the partner, as well as partner services support process
Service Creation: In partnership with vAccount Manager, vArchitect and vPAM accelerate the development of next generation market changing services by defining end state architectures, business cases to support funding, driving the account engagement necessary to achieve success.
Leadership: Develop relationships and establish credibility with top executives of strategic partners. Viewed by key partner executives as a strategic advisor that demonstrates Industry and business relevancy beyond EMC technologies. Expertise in identifying and leading the appropriate resources (internal & external) required to develop and execute major partner strategic initiative. Superior communication and listening skills including executive communications and presentation skills
Business Acumen: Advanced understanding of strategic partner’s business model (profit margin, cash-flow, etc). Support development of long range partner vision considering trends, market, industry and projected implications. Provide solution development and GTM strategies that assist partners in further differentiating their offerings. Create multi-partner ecosystem relationships that bolster individual partner offerings.
Solution Selling: Expert at understanding EMC vision and technology; articulate the vision from partner/customer perspective and create unique, novel value proposition around EMC product portfolio. Superior ability to influence partner loyalty and investment in EMC
Technology: Virtualization, Compute/Server, Networking, Storage, Automation Systems/Tools & Data Center, as well as key vendor offerings in this market. Knowledge of VMware, Cisco & EMC product/solutions (UCS, Clariion, V-Max, Nexus, etc.). Applications (SAP, ERP, CRM, etc.)
