EMC Global PGM Product Lifecycle(s) in Hopkinton, Massachusetts
Worksite: Hopkinton, MA, and various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
DUTIES: Drive programs from the feasibility phase to the end of life phase. Monitor released products to ensure that business objectives are being met after the product is brought to market. Lead the development and execution of companywide global product deployment plans, working with all functions including product management, engineering, marketing, professional services, customer services, customer support, training, manufacturing, sales, sales readiness and corporate quality. Achieve program goals on time and on cost, while also managing program risk. Drive cross-functional business readiness by leading program management teams and additional task sub-teams to meet program delivery and rollout requirements. Communicate program status, program readiness, business and technical issues and risks and recommendations across functional organizations and management up to and including the ELT. Drive program with Regatta from the feasibility phase to the end of life phase. Ensure Program Commitment Document (PCD) for release is complete and communicated. Ensure release is on plan and PCD is finalized and approved by all the stakeholders. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field and 2 years of experience in a business, marketing or related occupation. Experience must include: 1) Managing in a matrix environment. 2) Program/project management experience in a corporate environment. 3) Manufacturing Applications. 4) Technical presentation skills. 5) Negotiating with customer and Business Unit members; 6) Application of manufacturing concepts and strategies; 6) Supply chain strategies/processes; 7) Production and prototype material planning, leadtime analysis, capacity analysis; 8) Product lifecycles (Waterfall/ EMC Regatta and Agile/SCRUM); 9) Data storage applications; 10) Experience working with 3rd party suppliers for production material. Experience may be gained concurrently. Any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. Must be available to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
