Americas LCS Team Manager

This opportunity is ideal for an experienced IT Leader. The person in this role provides leadership for a team of highly technical staff responsible for post sales requirements gathering workshops with ours customers. This is a customer-facing role and requires excellent communication and customer relationship management skills.


  • Lead a team of highly technical engineers in the delivery of VCE product & services.

  • Works closely with senior management and across functional groups to develop effective strategies and programs to meet factory logical configuration goals, including tracking and reporting key milestones.

  • Provide a ‘White-Glove’ high-touch, high-value customer experience focused on transitioning the customer from the VCE Sales teams to the VCE Delivery organizations.

  • This transition is facilitated by providing storage, network and virtualization planning and integration discussions for VCE Converged Infrastructure products.

  • Support post sales consultative engagements with the customer’s technical teams to further refine the details required to configure and deliver their Vblock Solution.

  • Continue to reinforce the design and Factory Configuration value of sold VCE solution to customers.

  • Leverage existing best practices for documenting the key aspects of storage design, plan and implement

  • Team provides remote and/or on-site support for customer requests


The ideal candidate for this position has multiple years of combined industry experience in high tech industry, ideally in a services delivery or presales capacity. Experience should include Project or program Management experience and ITIL foundations highly desirable. Additionally, you must have:

  • Possesses strong management skills with demonstrated track record leadership roles.

  • Understanding of business environment & processes – Service Providers and large enterprise customers

  • Ability to lead, motivate and direct a workgroup in a high intensity environment

  • Understanding of process maturity, management, and optimization

  • Experience with VCE Vblock & VxBlock product technology

  • Strong interpersonal and communication as well as collaboration skills

  • Mentoring/Coaching skills

  • Strong technical presentation skills

  • Consultative background experience, preferably coming from a vendor background

  • Ability to travel domestically 50%+ of the time
