EMC Associate Inside Ptr Acct Mgr - 3 Months Contract in Cork, Ireland

Job Description:

This is a 3 month position.

Location: Cork - City Gate, Mahon

Purpose of Job:

Reporting to the Channel Operations/Partner Support Center Team Lead, this role is key to provide support to EMC partners in a Variety of areas. The EMEA Channel Operations/PSC is a single point of contact for pre- and post-sales support to EMC Partners. Specifically Channel Operations is responsible for the enablement of Partners in their relationship with EMC, the end-to-end support of the Channel sales cycle, and the operational development and execution of Partner programs.

Duties and responsibilities:

Provide outstanding customer service and sales support to our Partners, EMC Account Managers & Sales teams

Work with team members and management to identify process improvement and/or Partner/Sales training opportunities. Develop & deliver sales enablement tools

Provide support to partners and internal EMC functions with regards to Channel Operations, this includes Deal Registration, Contract Management, Partner Sales Support & Partner Orders.

Use skills to successfully negotiate and resolve conflicts which may arise.

Strive to meet published service level agreements, with balanced response times – due diligence and fast response

Collaborate with other internal functions to ensure best in industry partner experience.

Ensuring EMEA Channel & Mid Market requirements are represented in all Global forums.

Travel onsite to deliver training to EMC partners or co-ordinate and provide training to partners via webcasts.

Uses technical skills to resolve configuration related issues should they arise.


Fluency in English with a proficient in another European Language would be preferable. (Written & Spoken)

A flexible and agile approach is required to respond in a rapidly changing Sales environment.

Excellent Interpersonal/Communication skills.

Ability to work on own initiative within a cross cultural team

Capable of building relationships across EMEA.

Sales Environment Experience desirable.

Ability to multi-task and meet aggressive deadlines.

Nice to haves but not essential:

Educated to Honors Degree Level in a Business discipline.

Previous exposure to multi-national/international working environments desirable

Knowledge and experience in Channel Sales Support essential.

Proficiency in all business systems to include Salesforce (SFDC), MyQuotes and ERP systems

Experience in system enhancements desirable.

Good understanding of the EMC Channel Landscape and the EMEA Sales process.
